Pulled the starter for a while. It got to the point where I had to step on the pedal to get it to fire. Decided it was time to replace. If it was an original Denso unit I wanted to rebuild it but it was an aftermarket unit already owned by the previous owner so I decided to try a different one and see how it works. The new starter came with a data sheet showing the tests and their results which was nice to see. I installed it in about 30 minutes and WOW the difference. I can reach out and start the truck without pedaling and it starts up quickly and smoothly! If you have an original Denso I would recommend rebuilding it, but if you don't want to mess with it or need to replace an already non-original unit I would have no hesitation in choosing this unit. I will update this if anything changes.
