As a dishwasher I have found that the old green scrub gets my hands really dirty after long use. I wanted something that didn't require me to hold on to a sponge when your hands get wet and exposed to finger skin. While I could use rubber gloves or other protection, the gloves don't allow me to use the sprayer well, and the rubber gloves heat my hands and end up sweating in them.
