I am very impressed with the picture quality of this monitor. I replaced an old 1080p monitor with this IPS monitor. In my opinion, the colors are richer and more detailed, and the blacks are darker. I feel like my eyes are less tired at the end of the day which is most likely due to less blue light. The extra pixel density is another plus. As far as the image display is concerned, I am very satisfied with this monitor. What frustrates me the most about this monitor (and the reason I gave it 4 stars overall) is that it doesn't automatically switch between inputs. I have two different computers connected to one monitor. Whenever I change computers, I have to switch the monitor inputs manually. Switching inputs is a manual process: 1: Press the small 5-way button on the bottom of the monitor straight up 2: Press the left button to select the input menu 3: Press the next/previous button to to select the desired input from a list of 3 options (2 HDMI , 1 DisplayPort)4: Push the button straight up to activate the selected input My previous 2 monitors didn't require manual input switching. Is that a deal breaker? No, but I would seriously consider a different monitor if I had known about it before buying it. Also, I have some concerns about the durability of that little 5-way switch on the bottom of the monitor. The time will show.
