This part does not fit modern Alpine head units. This part was discontinued by the manufacturer due to constantly changing pinouts from companies like Alpine. I found out too late and had to send it back to Amazon. They told me to connect the head unit the "old fashioned way" using a standard wiring harness. This can work for head units up to 2003 when this part was discontinued.
