The plastic T-piece supplied with the Luxe bidet is suitable when you hold the bidet on the toilet and do not wear it or when there is no extra pressure on the adapter. However, as soon as we have moved the bidet to another toilet due to its design, the plastic sleeve loses its tightness. This brass adapter doesn't wobble, and the trick is that you attach the top to the toilet, but not too tight as it will leak (if not squirt) because the connection is too tight. Depending on the setting, the valve might not even be accessible, but I still don't use it because I only use the controls on the bidet itself. The adapter makes a well-made and durable impression.
