I first purchased them for 20.500 at a reputable German retailer. Second, I was concerned because of the large amount of reviews mentioning white noise, but I was unable to locate any. Now I don’t know, either it really was a defective batch at the beginning of sales, or not everyone hears it. I can confidently state that this purchase was warranted after making it. If there wasn't any wire, I could breathe a lot easier. I don't understand why they say the battery only lasts for 7 hours because it easily lasts me 20 hours, even with occasional breaks away from the laptop, by which time the spare is fully charged. I'm still getting used to their heft, but the ears themselves don't ache, which is nice; the auricle only gets a little annoyed here and there, but that's just habit. There is zero interest in going back to plugs and bulky A4 technology. They really shouldn't have been that cheap as to leave out gamedac from the package.
