Review on Spectra Premium CU2294 Complete Radiator by Mark Albright

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Decent cooler: cooler

This is a decent aftermarket cooler. The original radiator in my Durango started leaking when the plastic plugs came loose at the end when the system was pressurized. I've done a lot of research on various brands of Valeo that are OEM Spectra etc, most of them have bad reviews for leaks and unsuitable transcooler lines. I chose Spectra, a common replacement part that you can get in a small family garage. The bix it came in was not only smashed and had holes in it, there was a 3 inch wide slit on one side running the length of the box that was sealed with duct tape. The radiator was not damaged, the fins were not bent. Installed last weekend, no problems, took about an hour to get it right, half the bolts on the old assembly and electric fan broke the nuts that were in the plastic from being screwed into the plastic. Other than that, no problems yet, no leaks. the time will show

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Everything is great
