This worked for my 2009 Jeep Wrangler. I bought 2 of these and both work. The shop that cut them for me didn't do a good job on one of them and it doesn't spin easily, but that's the shop's fault, not that distance. The remote control works perfectly. But I address one important point as an example to offer advice. BEFORE programming the key/remote control, make sure the key works mechanically well and turns easily in the door lock and ignition switch. Your car may have a maximum number of keys that you can program it with (like my Jeep Wrangler does) and if you program a key that isn't cut properly, you'll waste it.
