So far so good. Very comfortable and no friction problems. They are hot and have not yet tried temperatures above 80 degrees. I think the bottom elastic cuffs could have been made looser to make them easier to put on and then velcro could have been used. completely against pedal strikes. I truly believe that the rear end material will not stand up to abrasion from vegetation and pedals. The time will show! Overall pleased with the retail price and functionality of these guards. A big improvement over the first generation.
