This was just what was needed for my whirlpool tub. Something controlling the tub motor was jammed or dirty, and I could not access the inner workings of the tub without removing tile. I took a chance and figured this same mechanism could work for my tub as well, and it did! I just plugged the tub motor into the switch and the switch into the outlet. I found a new spot for the button, which didn't involve drilling through the tub or tile, and it began working just as it had. So easy to install and works exactly as described! Saved me almost $400 in repair costs, too!
