I had several Elitech HVAC tools and the IR-200 is another really great design. Two 18650 batteries ensure a really long runtime. Depending on usage, you can go for weeks without charging. The screen is easy to read even in direct sunlight on the roof. The beep is very loud and overcomes wind and other noise. Both IR and heated diode modes are available. The warm-up time is 30 seconds, and the sensitivity and mode can be easily changed on the fly. I just left it on medium. Overall I really like this device and the price is very reasonable.
