My green cheeks have trouble getting food. It's really made for small birds like budgies or finches. I cut out one of the pieces of plastic that separates the tray where the food falls into two compartments. As a result, the area of the feeding bowl increased, now the birds seem to be reaching for food. Not the best design, but I haven't seen a feeder that can be placed in a cage.
- This feeder removes stray seeds and shells, your bird comes in and eats, leaving the shells and uneaten seeds in the trough, similar to a tray below.
