This is the third or fourth cable/adapter that makes my laptop's Thunderbolt hub work with my old Viewsonic monitor. All other adapters were DVI-D so I tried this one. Works great, the headache is finally over. Image quality 4 stars because of the old monitor and VGA connection. I would buy this again.
