Leave one end overlapped with the second slide; 4. Use a utility knife to remove each of the 3 sides. Be sure to cut out the OUTSIDE of your shield. Don't press hard, a light touch is enough; 5. Use scissors to cut 45 degree corners if your corners aren't straight. However, if you're used to cutting with a utility knife, it's just as easy to cut around the corner while keeping the back flat. That's all. Should look great.
