I cry but when it comes to pin extractors there seems to be no middle ground. It costs either $30 for a disposable extractor or $10 for a set of cheap keys. Well, if you have a bunch of unfamiliar brands of connectors, there's no way you can know which extractors will work, so buy a cheap kit just to find out. Those keys looked great. A few bent but nothing bad. Some had burrs, I can remove them. I immediately started with the last test: waterproof plugs. For those who don't know, you need a wrench to remove the inner sleeve and then another to squeeze the seals around the pin from the back to remove the sleeve. Once this is removed you will need another wrench to permanently remove the pins. These things worked great for the actual task. I wasn't afraid of their flex or anything like other reviewers have claimed. I have no doubt they will mate with many other automotive connectors I have worked with for decades. So why a star? Because I cannot in good conscience recommend a product that cuts when used correctly. At least two pin extractors (so far) have a ridge on the ring that cuts through the plastic and then my thumbs. I cut off my right thumb with a wrench and then used another wrench to finally cut off my left thumb. Fool me once, pretend Fool me twice, that's what I get for dual wielding
