I was hesitant to buy these cereal containers because to be honest they are expensive. I'm very glad I did. Like most families with children, we have a lot of cereal in our house. When I was remodeling my pantry, I bought these containers to solve the problems we've always had with cereal. Empty or almost empty cereal boxes were left in the pantry. Cereals have been opened and used once and they are stale. the flakes opened immediately. My kids now have a rule that they fill these three dispensers with three types of cereal. Before they can open another box, they must empty one of the dispensers after eating their cereal. We throw away far less cereal. We have a lot less spills and mess with these dispensers. I'm a fan of OXO storage bins and they live up to their name. I'm glad I went broke and bought them. I suspect they will pay dividends in less mush being thrown away sooner rather than later.
