I don't know much about gaming, but this monitor is perfect for the office. Also, it comes with a USB-C 3.1 or Thunderbolt cable to connect to your computer. The cable charges the laptop and transmits video. The stand's height, swivel and tilt adjustments are amazing. The screen can be adjusted one inch from the desktop. This helps a lot with stress in the neck. This is the best monitor stand I have ever seen. The built-in USBC 3.1 hub and smart stand make this monitor a great buy.
