My experience was similar to several other one and two star reviews. The product appeared normal in the bottle with a very faint coconut odor. But once applied to the skin, unlike other oils like almond, apricot, or sesame, it didn't absorb into the skin and was very greasy. Like some of the other reviewers, I soon noticed what could best be described as a rancid/chemical smell. And once it's on the skin, it's not easy to remove. While others have had success with this product, I will definitely stay away from it as the risk of these negative effects far outweighs the potential benefits. If you are in the fractionated coconut oil market I would look elsewhere. Like some other reviewers, I would also be curious if a chemical analysis of this product would actually show that it was 100% Fractionated Coconut Oil.
