Now that I have a few of these table mount armrests I can say that at around $40 this option isn't that impressive in build quality. Is it also the rudest move of them all with a useless pad? (That's actually worse than having no padding at all, since it's not a hard surface, so the edges dig into your hand.) The armrest is wide enough for a wide range of arm sizes, but you'll need to add something since they alone is very uncomfortable. I put a 1/2 inch foam and cotton pad on it and it's good enough for typing.
