I love these lamps GE
These are excellent lamps. I have them in the kitchen and ceiling fan indoors outside. For a 40 watt bulb they put out a decent amount of light. Incandescent lamps provide pure white light and not the yellow tint of traditional incandescent lamps. I've had them for a few months now so can't say how long they will last but I'm happy with the disclosure bulbs. I use electric light bulbs (CFL) throughout the house except for small "chandeliers" like this one. I have not been able to find an energy efficient CFL lamp of this type/size.
