Judging by the reviews, I was concerned about this dress. But because of the price, I took a risk. I'm glad I did. diving material. More snorkeling than the usual snorkeling gowns I've seen, it looks like neoprene but it's not obvious until you touch it or look closely. It wasn't sparkling. I thought I needed something to wear underneath but I didn't. I love these snorkel dresses because they don't wrinkle making them perfect for travel. They are true to size. I'm size 4 and it fits perfectly. The good thing is that the upper is very stretchy, so even a 6 can fit in a 4. The lower black part is less neoprene like a diver and more like the regular 95 [5%] suits you see here. The dress is flattering, especially if you have a small handbag. it hides well. The spread is perfect, not too much, not too little. I only gave it a 4 because it has no pockets, looked black and white on the internet but is actually tan and a bit short. I'm almost 5ft 7" tall and that's about 2" from my knees. The length is ok for what I plan to wear to church, but if I was a little taller it wouldn't be a very good church dress. for reference 128-130 pounds, 5'7.
