Review on HIDIZS S8 USB DAC AMP: High-Fidelity Portable Audio Decoder for iPhone, iPod, Android, Windows, Mac OS – 384kHz/32Bit by Elizabeth Oliva

As others have said the sound quality is great but the build quality is terrible. After the lightning USB connector broke on the first unit I bought (it broke within the first month) I returned it and bought the amp back hoping I'd have better luck the second time around would have. The Lightning cable on the second device only lasted a week and a half. To make matters worse, the first 3 replacement cables I tried turned out to be incompatible with the amp. The exchange mentioned in the question I asked about Revain here works and is the only reason I'm not returning the unit.
