Not sure why others have had issues with this holder. I've had a few others and this was the strongest. If you see others, the expanding part of the holders has gaps between the expanders. This weakens the holder. This gap does not exist. Also, the top is one solid piece, so you don't have to adjust the fit like most retainers. It's just a strong, flexible arm. Install it and it stays in place. I also have a huge wallet, it's very heavy. It doesn't fall or move at all. The magnet is also very strong. Indeed this is a quality keeper, ignore other reviews. I use it in my Tesla and I will buy another one for my RV.
