I use melamine sponges for a variety of things. Until recently I only bought name brand magic sponges. A recent purchase of another all purpose magic sponge worked well so I decided to give these a try. Texture. Appears clean and is holding up well. Even if they don't last that long, you're still far ahead at this price. In my photos you can see three sponges. The one on the left is the sponge on this list, the middle one is the base sponge from a well known brand and the one on the right is the updated brand 2X Stronger with the Durafoam version. They are most similar to the main sponge of a well-known brand. In a blind test I doubt I can tell a difference in feel or texture, they are obviously significantly smaller. They come packed in a block in a black plastic bag. It would be nice to have an inner zip pocket to stash them as you'll immediately start looking for something to hold them. 100 sponges at this price is a steal.
