Too many comments on this product to recommend it

We have just bought this tent. Came with a broken zipper. Hit one. But accidents happen during transport, so we continued to set up the tent. I tried to set up a tent by myself. Tent poles, like many others, are easily broken and compacted. But getting the pieces through the tent's upper fabric guides (thin sleeves) wasn't easy as the tent poles were constantly pulling apart and sticking to the fabric. When I finally got the poles into the sleeves, it was very difficult to get the second "X" to cross over to steady itself on its peg on the tent floor. Other bars kept slipping off the bottom pins. Or slide up through the fabric guides so the remaining rod doesn't flex enough to fit the last foot piece. It was uncomfortable and I don't want to do it again. They should be assisted in setting it up. Second Strike. Then I came in. The tent is for four people. It should measure 8.5 feet by 8 feet. I am 6ft 5in and cannot fit in the longer interior dimension. My legs and head rest uncomfortably deep in the tent walls. And that, although I'm lying on the tent floor. Even if the advertised dimensions are for an absolute outdoor space, a person over 6 feet should fit comfortably in something that is 8.5 feet long. Very disappointing. Third blow. Dirty shoes should be left behind to keep the inside of the tent cleaner). The zipper was sticky and threatened to tear the fabric (with the force required to close/open). You had to hold the fabric tight to get enough tension around the zipper path to close or open it. I added some lube to the zipper - a bit better but it still snags every 8 inches or so. beat four And a hit, because the door is one of the most important parts of a tent. Finally, I tried to route the fan's power cable through the access hole. Unlike access holes in other tents, this tent doesn't even close (with velcro). It's just a loose big hole with a little reinforcement at the seams. I can already see the weak fabric tearing when we use it often. Easy. Worse, because it's a big hole, flying insects can EASILY enter the tent through the hole. mass failure. Fifth Strike. What I like about camping? It has a nice high and wide ceiling so you can comfortably kneel inside. And it's wider than a two-person tent, so you can roll from side to side while you sleep. But if you're taller than 5 feet 9 inches or so, your head and feet are still likely to bang against the interior walls vertically because the walls tilt as they go up. A tent that has been thoughtfully designed for people over 1.80m tall. At a minimum, the power access hole should be sealed (to keep bugs out) and the door zipper should work smoothly and securely (so you can get in and out without drama). . It's not cheap when a product doesn't work or fails quickly.
