Difficult to install but works well.
This item works well in my 1998 Toyota 4Runner but was very difficult to install. The top mounting bracket is VERY difficult to fit into the 4Runner bracket. I had to file the ends and tap them with a hammer to insert them into the bracket. The bottom adjuster bolt mounting bolt was also very hard, but I was able to get it in by simply pushing on the adjuster guide to seat the bolt. Once installed I was able to easily charge 14v compared to mine. an old alternator that only put out about 11V. It works fine, but it was bloody hard to install!
