If you are looking for a low performance machine that cuts unevenly then THIS is your machine! I mean it barely cuts through frozen meat less than 2 inches thick. It's easy to clean. I get a more even cut with my Viking boning knife (yes, frozen!). Not to mention the slide is TERRIBLE. Rub with wax paper more often, otherwise you will have to fight it. I'm going to a restaurant. This article goes to the trash. If you're using this thing for something where the consistency of your meat isn't that important, it's a decent homemade slicer and that's the ONLY reason I gave it 2 stars.
