Looks nice but has some flaws

It looks nice, but there are a couple issues brought up by other reviewers that are 100% correct. The first issue is that it definitely mixes the hot/cold water of your entire home if you leave the handle in the "on" position. Which is kind of the entire point of this type of faucet, right? That you can just wave your hand to turn it off/on. Unless you turn the faucet to the "off" position each time you'll have to run the cold water for a couple minutes to get anything cold out of any faucet in your home. I haven't noticed a change in my heating bill yet, but I could see this having an effect. For now I'm trying to remember to turn the faucet to the "off" position when I'm not using it, at the end of the day for instance, but again this defeats the purpose of this kind of faucet with the sensor! Doing some research, as others have noted it requires a set of check valves to prevent this. Ordered Delta Item RP53468 from Ebay and hopefully that will do the trick $30.The second issue is that if you have any sort of back splash behind the faucet, the handle may hit it. I have probably a couple inches of gap and then the handle runs into my back splash as you turn it to hot. My water is pretty hot so it's not the end of the world, but be aware. I'm concerned that it may scratch the faucet and/or chip my granite over time.I'll probably keep the faucet and deal with the issues, but I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it. It looks nice, but disappointed in how the sensor on/off works with mixing the water.
