Alarm won't turn off

Overview: D-Link Wi-Fi Water Leak Detector and Alarm Starter Kit, Whole Home Home System with App Notification, AC Power, No Hub Required (DCH-S1621KT) I have taken this because my aquarium is constantly overflowing. First the disadvantages, then the advantages. Main Cons=If you lose power, this thing won't tell you anything if your network goes down.=CAN'T TURN THE ALARM OFF. The alarm clock is annoying and you probably don't even need it. Maybe you just want to be notified by phone. Who cares teasing cats with a siren when you're not around. = The alarm will continue to work even if you turn off the siren on your phone. You need to dry the sensor to stop the annoying alarm. This is the main disadvantage. Or just turn everything off. = If you're not around to take care of it, family members should find out what this alarm is about and how to turn it off, because if you select SILENCE SIREN in your phone's notifications, it will just keep sending new notifications and turns the siren on again. = There is no way to turn off the siren anywhere in the application. It's not available.Pros=One of the best app setup processes I've ever gone through. It's very easy to set up and connect everything, more than the last 40-50 devices I've tried. = definitely detects water on both devices and warns you which is the actual target.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
