The instructions seem simple and clear, but they are not. I can't get it to work on my 8 cylinder 4 stroke Ford 351w with distributor. The setting should be 1P2r (one spark per two revs, but the RPM is too high at this setting. I've tried all the other settings to get lower RPM readings, but I'm wondering if they are accurate enough to use I've wrapped the red wire 5 times, tightly wrapped the plug wire and grounded the white wire securely to the engine block.I can't find any information on their website that would help me figure out why it's not working.I will be returning this item I'm wondering to see if my new spark plug wires are insulated well enough for this unit to not see the spark signal
