USB sticks are so small that I buy more than I would like. I've never worn them out, but I lose them regularly. I'm not a heavy user so I'm not spending a fortune on it. As a result, I never expect absolutely fast read and especially write times. For the low price, it reads well and writes reasonably well. If you use it to share files of reasonable size, you will be amazed. If you expect multi-gigabyte files to be transferred very quickly, invest a little more and get a faster drive. I won't downgrade, that's what I expect in this price range. The dual USB ports are great. I can use it on my Mac USB-C and still share files with an old laptop with an old USB port. Pivoting hinge. It looks pretty flimsy hence the 4 star rating. It just doesn't look like it's going to hold up, which means it might not provide protection for the USB port in the long run.
