I have an LED panel that I like, but in some situations I need a softer light. I didn't find any softboxes for LED panels, but I managed to attach this LimoStudio screen. If you are adventurous you can try it. My panel is FancierStudio: Fancierstudio CN600SA LED Panel LED Video Lighting Fancierstudio Cn600sa LED Studio Lighting But this method will probably work for any similar sized panel with shutters. curtains required. You will need: * 1x LimoStudio Studio Lighting Umbrella 33" Revain sells these: LimoStudio 2x 33" Studio Lighting Umbrellas Translucent White Soft Umbrella, AGG124-A *4 Shapenty Flat Split Key Fobs 1" Diameter Metal Flat Split Key Fob Car Key Holder ( Black, 10/box) * 1 Helix Professional Eraser Revain sells them: Helix Professional Eraser 10ct * Approx 15ft of cord I used nylon but thick cotton thread will do 1) Cut 13" from the end of the umbrella stem and attach an eraser.2) Assemble the cords with the key rings as shown in the photos.My cords are about 60" long not counting the length needed to tie a knot.If your panel is a different size , you may need to adjust the length Attach the umbrella as shown in the photos Cord loop around curtain panels Cover eraser is used to protect the front the side of the panel in front of the umbrella stem. I also use a white diffusion filter in front of the LED bulbs. It's easy to disassemble and reassemble if you do it multiple times, so this setup can also be used when traveling. The dimmable LED panel is bright, quiet and cool. The shade gives me a nice soft light. This works for me. This might work for you too.
