I bought 2 sets of the small bowls for my cats. The smallest would have worked, but I went with the bigger size because I have 3 cats. The shallow bowl makes things comfortable for cat whiskers, which is what I was looking for. So, the bowls, on appearance, were just right. The big regret is that the rubber ring used on the base smells so bad. It smells like a toxic chemical. We put the rubber in the dishwasher and then our dishwasher smelled. We’ve aired them outside for days, but the smell is still there. Now I have 6 bowls I can try to use without the rubber base but I’m kinda wondering, based on that toxic smell on the rubber, if the bowls are safe for the cats to eat from. So, no, I would not recommend anyone buying. I’ll go to the pet store to buy more pet bowls.
