Nowhere in this list does it say that the thermometer/hygrometer sensor gateway is a different model (H5041) than the water sensor gateway (H5040), only that you it can connect to your Govee Wi-Fi Gateway. The model numbers on the Gateway listings are well hidden by the wall of text around them, and the descriptions still don't mention that they aren't compatible with other sensors. The two gateways are visually identical (probably the only difference is the firmware, which doesn't allow connections from just one type of device, and the label on the back), and Govee even answered more than one question and answer claiming that water sensors connect to the thermometer gateway . They can't and their support will just tell you to buy another device from them to use that sensor with the app. Given the Gateway device type, there is no reason why a Gateway cannot receive data from both sensors; it's just a choice they made.
