I actually bought these to use in the microwave, but I was never able to get them to turn out right. No matter how much time I added or subtracted, they were always either over or under cooked. I finally just gave up and decided to try them on the stove. They come out perfect almost every time. They tilt a little in the water and I always feel like they are going to tip over, but they haven't so far. When I put the lid on the pan, it holds them in place. They are a little bit flimsy though. I only wish they were a little bit more sturdy.
