Great for consistent results, but wish you didn't need to spray

Great little product for making consistent results with poached eggs so much easier. I wish that they were a bit more non-stick and you didn't need to spray them (because I always forget), and it would be nicer to just be able to pop the egg out of the cup as it is. I will say that even when I forget to spray (but still skim around the egg with a spoon) you don't lose too much egg, but it does make clean up more difficult. It would also be good if they put the raised lettering of the logo on…

Pros
  • POACHING YOUR BEST YOLKS. Coat the silicone poached egg cooker lightly with oil. Crack your egg into the egg pod, float in boiling water & cover the pan with a lid. Once cooked, flip the silicone egg molds inside out to release the domed egg
Cons
  • Not suitable for use on stovetop

After a bit of trial and error I finally figured out how to make perfect eggs in these. I learned to poach an egg the old fashioned way faster than learning these, lol! But these make it quick, and now that we have a microwave I am interested in trying them in there.A note though, I let my eggs cook for probably 5 minutes to get a solid white and runny yoke. And less and the white is undercooked, at least for me. And definitely cover the pan.

Pros
  • Easy to use to make coffee shop scrambled egg bites at a fraction of the price.
Cons
  • Not the best!

As long as you spray first, it works PERFECTLY!

I forgot to use the spray oil the first time I used these, and it was a bother to get the eggs out and clean the silicone cup. But every time since then I've used the spray oil and the eggs come out like a breeze, the washing is super easy (just put them in the top rack of the dishwasher)!I love that I can eat the entire egg - nothing is left in the water, unlike poaching eggs before.

Pros
  • Perfect for those on a low-carb or high-protein diet
Cons
  • May not be suitable for certain dietary restrictions

Poaching care - my new review

The product was easy to clean and removal of the egg was just as easy. However, keeping the cups upright was somewhat of a problem.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • May require additional time to cook eggs

Watch a video! - my new review

Had trouble using these. You need to watch a Video on this product. Need to cook longer to get the whites not to be runny. Also just trying to get them out of the pan. I guess there is a special spoon or something you can purchase but I think it should of come with your order anyway. I tried using butter to (oil) the inside and that doesn’t work very good. Use oil! Still after all of this I still love my poach eggs!

Pros
  • NO HASSLE, NO FUSS. Each poached egg maker set, made from non-stick BPA-free silicone, is dishwasher safe & can be easily folded up & tucked away in a drawer. Kitzini is a small British business bringing professionally styled kitchen items & a pinch of happiness into your kitchen
Cons
  • May require additional cooking tools for preparation

Good item.: my feedback

I like that the eggs actually come out like beautiful poached eggs. I don’t like that they move around in the water. And I wish they had better directions.

Pros
  • Egg Poachers
Cons
  • May not be stackable for storage

Great for newbie egg poachers

I have used these the way instructed in boiling water. I have no idea how to poach eggs without a tool like this. The eggs are poached and come out of the cups well if you spray them. I have trouble getting them to stay upright in the boiling water instead of flopping over. The cups are thin silicon, and they are very floppy, so carrying them to the pot with eggs already cracked into them is a little bit of a challenge.I recommend these for anyone who has no idea how to poach an egg. They make…

They work! on my review.

I was a bit skeptical but I am really pleased with these. I enjoy eggs benedict but poaching an egg the real way is tedious not to mention a pain to clean up with the way the egg sticks to the edges of the pan. These are easy to use, easy to monitor when boiling to gauge when done and cleaning them is no problem. I do sort of miss the poached egg softness of the whites - whites with these will be thoroughly cooked. But the ease of cooking and cleaning make up for it.

Pros
  • Dishwasher safe for easy clean-up
Cons
  • May not be worth the cost

tilts a little in my review

I actually bought these to use in the microwave, but I was never able to get them to turn out right. No matter how much time I added or subtracted, they were always either over or under cooked. I finally just gave up and decided to try them on the stove. They come out perfect almost every time. They tilt a little in the water and I always feel like they are going to tip over, but they haven't so far. When I put the lid on the pan, it holds them in place. They are a little bit flimsy though. I…

Pros
  • Perfect for meal prepping for busy mornings
Cons
  • May require frequent replacements due to wear and tear

Have not used in microwave but great on the stove.

The description of these egg poachers advises to float in a pan of boiling water. The are awesome for that, but I don't think I would use them in the microwave as eggs have a tendency to explode. First use I forgot to put oil in the cup, thought it would be a bear to clean. Some egg white stuck, but was very easy to clean. If you aren't good at poaching eggs in just a pan of water, I highly recommend these.

Pros
  • Safe for the whole family to use
Cons
  • May be prone to tearing or breaking

Works perfectly! for my opinion

I absolutely love my egg poachers! They are very easy to use and just a quick wipe, and they are clean and ready to go again. These cook beautifully. I was worried that they may tip over while the water in the pan was boiling because they do tend to float around a bit, but they do not tip. When cooking is done, the egg slides right out with no problem onto your plate. They are also nice because they are stackable and take very little room in the cabinet. Unlike a poaching pan. Would recommend…

Pros
  • Accommodates various egg sizes
Cons
  • May be too flexible for handling

So easy to use. on my review.

Sam the cooking guy made me want to cook some poached eggs, so here's a little review of these silicone molds I purchased on revain. They are great if you want to make more than one poached egg at a time, and I do! They don't come out obviously looking like a traditional poached egg, but they turned out really good.

Pros
  • Cups are small and take up little storage space
Cons
  • May require additional seasoning for taste

It does as advertised. I have yet to get the eggs to the point that I like. They are either too runny or too done. Trying to get the white done and the yoke a little runny. Not sure I can do that with these. Not the fault of the product, tho.

Pros
  • Maintains the nutritional value of the food being cooked
Cons
  • May not be able to handle high temperatures

These are okay: my feedback

I find myself not using them because they are a little too awkward. I couldn't tell if the eggs were done enough because there was water in the egg, and I didn't know if it was egg white, which I can't stomach if it isn't cooked. As a result, I overcooked the eggs. So - maybe more practice. someday.

Pros
  • Comes in a stylish and modern design
Cons
  • May require additional dishwashing

Bought as a gift best in my review

I can't give more stars until used. These were bought as a gift and have not been used yet. However, the order arrived as promised and product was as pictured. Looking forward to using them!

Pros
  • Can be used with a variety of sauces or toppings
Cons
  • May not be versatile enough for multiple recipes

I Egg Your Pardon in my review

I have no idea what the typically ubiquitous complainers are doing that they can't figure out these complicated pieces of astro-mechanical thermal engineering. Mine arrived with no instructions, but I remembered to spray the insides with a little canola oil. I dropped them in the semi-roiling water. I put the lid on the pan. I checked them frequently and jiggled the pan to see how watery the yolks looked. Time stood still as this mystifying process unveiled several layers of meaning and…

Pros
  • Reduces the amount of oil or butter needed for cooking
Cons
  • May require additional cooking time for thicker eggs

Great poached eggs.

I wanted to use these silicone poaching bowls awhile before my review. These are easy to use, easy to clean and easy to remove the egg. Best way I found is to spray a little cooking spray in them but your egg and your container down in some water with the lid let that cook for about 5 minutes That's what I do when they come out and perfect every time.

Pros
  • I love them..these are great for other things other than poached eggs..
Cons
  • Not suitable for large-scale cooking
