Works better than I expected.
Our front door has a cable run with a nice wooden railing next to it, so we don't have a convenient place to mount the doorstop or bumper and we don't want to tinker with the wall with a traditional hinge stop. I had low expectations for this product as it has very little leverage to reduce the hassle of the hinge but it definitely works. The door can hit the railing if pushed hard, but with normal use it will slow down and stop before it gets there. I was planning to buy 2 or 3 for this door but 1 seems to work fine.
