To be honest, it's been 15 years since I bought my last Camel backpack. It served me for a good 10 years and then when the kids came along I stopped snowboarding and cycling and didn't see the need for a camel anymore. Now that the kids are older we want to take them on camping trips and it is extremely important to take plenty of fluids on a camping trip. I was impressed with this next generation camel bacon. Pneumatic support for more comfort when carrying the backpack for a long time. Magnetic closure to fix the bag to the body, magnetic tube trap to prevent the drinking line from flying in all directions. Plenty of compartments for easy access to keys, tissues etc. Waterproof inner compartment to store an extra set of dry clothes. Overall, I liked the size and ease of use.
