The switch is easy to connect, no "high tech" is required. The required cables were included as my monitor already had a DB15 VGA cable. It's easy to use and I can't think of an easy way to switch keyboard, monitor, mouse and USB printer between two computers. My job requires me to use a newer computer for most applications, but I have some older, very expensive programs that won't run on machines newer than Windows XP. This little box was the perfect solution to the clutter of cables and devices on my desk. Switching from one computer to another takes about 2 seconds, mainly to wake up the video on a "sleeping" computer. I am 100% satisfied. Communication with the seller is also very good. They contacted me about the delivery prior to their arrival and advised me to contact them if I had any issues, which wasn't necessary as everything was working great.
