For some reason, I started having plantar fasciitis after I started working at home during the pandemic. Under my heels felt like they were on fire when walking and at night. Ibuprofen didn't help and I dreaded the idea of going to a doctor and ending up with a boot or physical therapy appointments. I had a couple of pairs of these socks in the drawer that I'd forgotten about and put them on last night when the pain got worse than normal. The relief was immediate. Not entirely gone, but significantly less. And 24 hours later, even less pain. I can't believe I forgot I had these socks! Full foot compression socks do not work the same as these for heel pain. I wear a women's size 10 shoe (11 in athletic shoes) and I got the large. They have to be snug to be effective. Sometimes I can see some puffiness in the lower foot below the sock band at the end of the day, but a few hours off takes care of that, and back on they go! Ordering more!
