The New Balance Reflective Vest is a great lightweight vest that I know will do a lot of good. I'm a runner living in the country and I always try to find light-colored clothing to stay safe and visible when walking my dogs on our back road. Now I have to worry less about what I'm wearing because I have an awesome neon reflective vest that can be worn over any outfit. The vest itself is a lightweight mesh with lots of reflective stripes around the entire perimeter. The head hole is quite small and if you have a big head, long hair or a hat you can take a second to put it on. The body part is very roomy and fully adjustable with Velcro on the sides. The body is quite short and loose and I would have liked it to be a bit narrower with more room or adjustment in the shoulder area to increase the size of the head opening and allow the vest to hang a bit lower on my body. This item folds very small, convenient to take with you when you want to run, hike or bike in areas where traffic might be heavy. I also love taking it on a hike. Where I camp, the main road leading to the toilets is full of cars and I often walk along it at night. Even with a flashlight, I like to do my part to stay visible. Motorists are pleased to see that an effort has been made to be visible and to create a safe general road environment. I definitely recommend this vest.
