I've tried two different pairs of these but they don't hold up my curtain rod and blackout curtain. The first time I didn't wait long after applying and didn't clean the wall. I returned a pair of Revain and they sent me a second pair and with them I cleaned the wall and waited over 24 hours after I put them on to try to hang the curtain. And again the curtain fell a few hours after hanging. I got them because I live in an apartment and didn't want to poke holes in my walls, but with so much paint they've ripped off I'm starting to think I might as well just poke holes. My next idea is to try and get some command hooks to evenly distribute the curtain's weight, hoping it will stay in place. I haven't weighed it exactly but I can't imagine it weighing more than 5 pounds even if it's a little thicker because it's just a curtain covering my window. Don't waste your time on this unless you're hanging very light curtains!
