The photos of this product do not show how flexible and fickle it really is. I bought the product a few years ago for another identical application. This product was very sturdy and looked like it needed to sit across the gap between my stove and counter. While this gap cover protects the gap from food, debris, and other intruders, it is quite fragile and looks exactly like this when installed. While it was very quick and easy to install, "installing" was little more than tucking away through a slot. Although I rated the cleanability and heat resistance relatively well, I only installed it a few days ago, so the jury has yet to make my final decision on those two ratings. Overall I don't feel like I got much for the money I spent.
