Review on Makita XAG04Z Brushless Cordless Angle Grinder: Powerful Lithium Ion Technology by Elmito Yeager

I know I should wait longer before writing a review on something like this, but if it breaks during the warranty period or other problems arise I will mine update rating . This is the last of my Makita 18V LXT products. I have a 7 1/2 circular saw, an X2 18V chainsaw, a drill, an impact wrench and a really awesome light that I got for Christmas. I am VERY happy with all of them. You have far exceeded my expectations. This system is so advanced compared to the old cordless NiCad tools. I know it's expensive to start, but do it. You won't be disappointed with the performance of these 18V LXT tools. Now let's move on to the angle grinder itself. I was a little concerned it wouldn't be strong enough to use my cutting wheels on the 1/4" thick sheet metal I needed to cut. No problems. I used it right away too to cut 2" to 20" diameter circles out of #10 expanded metal for grating in my cremation barrels. Again no problem. One cutting wheel wore out and 1/4 the next. Then I replaced it with a grinding wheel and ground up some of my bad ones Welds off. In fact, my bad weld looked a lot better ;-) I had lots of batteries so I bought a bare tool for only $100. Well worth the price. I may never use my corded angle grinder again.
