This is exactly what I saw a roofing company use their ladder to get back up onto my new roof to install screens in the lower gutters of my new gutters. The new gutters are 6 inches and the old ones are 5 inches. As the roofers prepared to leave, I reminded them that they had promised to replace the grating over the gutters. They got a ladder with these protruding brackets - probably the same brand. I noticed that the ladder didn't touch the new gutters. I used to lean my ladder (without protruding brackets) against old gutters with internal braces. I'm not heavy enough to push these gutters, but anyone else could be heavier. These new gutters will bend if I don't use prominent features. I've searched the internet for great success videos and finally decided this is what I need. As the couple waits in my living room for the spirit to tell me to clean the new gutters.
