Review on 🔌 Dorman 38537 Tailgate Support Cable - 2-Pack, Black, for Selected Toyota Models by Edward Taylor

While the straps worked fine - the bolts to secure the strap with the rear door to connect failed after a little more of the year. One is completely cut off and the second is bent and will probably be cut off soon. I wouldn't buy this again. I now buy OEM replacement bolts from my local dealer (at the price of the entire belt pack shown here) to make sure they don't break. I wish I could keep the original bolts as they were still in good condition - even after 277,000 miles. These bolts sheared / bent after 23,000 km.
