I bought this remote control to use with my Yamaha Stereo. The original remote has dozens of buttons and I keep hitting the wrong button and putting my stereo in a weird mode. So I bought this remote control to perform some basic functions without glasses. I had to go through the learning sequence two or three times for each key, but I was up and running in minutes. Too bad this remote didn't exist a few years ago. My mother, who developed cognitive impairment in her later years, would have been ideal to use the television.
