This stabilizer was the fourth wrist/thumb brace I have purchased. Everyone else had issues but this stabilizer is perfect for my needs. It is very comfortable to wear and very easy to put on. I had no problems and my thumb and wrist got a lot better. I'd say it's mostly for the thumb, but it also supported my wrist and I had great mobility. Velcro is no problem at all. I had an old thumb injury many years ago and as I age due to arthritis I have problems with weak thumbs. I would definitely buy again.
