Do not believe the hype

This item does only one thing: It removes the COLUMN OF AIR that would sit on top of your food if it were in the same container with a plain lid. It is NOT A VACCUUM! As such it is pretty much worthless for coffee. You will get better results using the bag your coffee came in and an evacuated zip loc bag…old school. In addition, let’s say you put quinoa in the canister and fill it up within two inches of the top. If you drop it…it will not break…but the lid absolutely will pop loose. I am not out a ton of money, but lesson learned.
