The controller arrived earlier than promised. The model was marked JLD612 while the photo was of a TET612, but the two models appear identical, except for the name of one of the PID parameters. There was no manual enclosed with the device. I used a manual for the TET612 downloaded from the internet, and had no issues setting the controller for use with a SSR and an "in-tolerance-range" LED wired using both alarm relays (the application was temperature control of an espresso machine with a J thermocouple). The default PID parameters did not work, but using auto tune to let the controller choose adequate parameters resulted in a +/-1F process control.
